VARSTREET NAVIGATION
Responsible for all main navigational graphics for all web based applications under development at VARStreet. Specifically the FREE eBusiness Workplace and complimentary application VSConnect. Both applications targeted different end users and performed different primary tasks.

The eBusiness Workplace, a FREE online application, was for small to medium businesses who needed online eCommerce, marketing, real time quoting, and daily business details. With an expanding feature set and endless developlment cycle the main navigation was constantly updated.

vsConnect, a subscriptions based online application, was for large manufacturers who needed to create, develop and maintain customer channels. Information could be pushed directly to all resellers and ultimately to end users through one simple application. Users included 3COM, Iomega and Fujitsu.

I designed the main navigations to be as simple as possible. Because this was an online application bandwidth was a major consideration. Users would be constantly bouncing from page to page and the fastest refresh was desired.

I spent one year as the Creative Director for VARStreet. Working in-house to manage a variety of corporate and product marketing projects. Primarily responsible for the corporate identity, web site development, application GUI, and marketing materials.

All graphical elements were under my direction. Also managed third party vendors and freelance work. The ultimate graphic design "go to" guy. Brought design consistency and increased professional look and feel of the company.
